Walgreens to close 600 stores after buying nearly 2000 Rite Aid stores

Walgreens announced in an earnings report that it would close 600 of its stores as the company completes its $4.38 billion deal to buy 1,932 Rite Aid locations.

The closures will happen over the next 18 months, and the company has not said where those would occur.
